In Claires' instagram account she posts lots of videos of her new songs and recordings. She posts these to promote her new songs in a more personal way. The posts are often her recording at her house which seems a lot more personal than recording in studio. She also posts lots of lifestyle posts to show her audience who she is what she enjoys to do. Those posts are similar to the posts of other girls who have a big following on Instagram. The reasons she posts these are to make her into someone her audience can relate to or someone that her audience wishes she could be. 

She posts some sillier posts of her out with friends and/or on her own. This again allows the audience to relate to her. She posts some concert posts but she only became so popular during the covid pandemic therefore she hasn't really been able to do many shows and concerts.

Billie Eilish is an example of a bigger artist that blew up rather quickly. She is a lot more edgy and quirky in her Instagram styles. She posts many concert pictures prior to covid. She also posts lots of behind the scenes and teasers of her music videos. She does this so that she can gain a bigger following on Instagram, people see her videos on Youtube and then go to her Instagram for more, this can also work in the other way, if someone sees her posts on instagram they will go to her youtube to see the whole thing. She posts her tour dates and updates on what festivals she will be at. This is important to inform her fans of when she will be performing and where. 

She also posts quite a new magazine covers and articles she has been on. A lot of bigger artists do this in order to show how far they have come and to again promote the product or magazine or article to her fans.

An example of a much smaller bands instagram is the motive. They are a relatively new band so they really don't have very many Instagram posts. The majority of their posts are videos and pictures of them performing at shows. This shows what kind of music they do and helps them to promote their music. They posts lots of old film style photos. They post a few pictures of them in bars or hanging out to show their audience how they're normal guys too and this helps the audience relate to them. They also have posts of the music festivals they've performed at or will be performing at. this is important for them to build up a fanbase.
